Southern Implants North America, Inc.

North America distributor of dental implants, restorative components, and regenerative materials for Southern Implants.  This includes servicing maxillofacial and craniofacial surgeons, prosthodontists, maxillafacial prosthodontists, periodontists, general dental practitioners, and dental laboratories.

The Company:

Southern Implants was established in 1987 to develop, manufacture and distribute dental implants and associated products. Southern has been a pioneer in the field over the last two decades and have contributed extensively to ongoing enhancements with respect to the osseointergration of implant devices, surgical techniques, patient education and options for treatment. Its continually expanding product range includes both established and state-of-the-art technologies, enhanced by outstanding after-sale support.

The Position:

The Coordinator of Marketing & Professional Education is responsible for coordinating marketing  and education information and events for the sales department and for its customers.

  • Plans meetings by identifying, assembling, and coordinating meeting details
  • Establishes contacts and coordinating mailing lists for meetings
  • Creates and executes marketing plan for successful education courses and meetings
  • Coordinates meeting registrations, conference registrations for team, and makes group hotel arrangements
  • Coordinates product: places orders, ships and displays product for education courses and conferences
  • Interacts with conventions & meeting service personnel
  • Coordinates and oversees workshop materials for meetings
  • Gathers and organizes competitive intelligence
  • Builds relationships with the sales team and Key Opinion Leaders
  • Provides sales support answering questions and assistance in preparing for conferences and education programs
  • Assists with press releases and presentations
  • Maintains a current online/social media presence for the company


  • Minimum of 2 years related marketing and/or education experience
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and ability to work in team environment
  • Desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced organization
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Bachelor’s (preferred in Marketing)
  • Technical dental skills a plus
  • B2B industry experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Proven capability with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.) 
  • Valid driver's license, safe driving record, maintaining auto insurance coverage, ability to obtain credit card are all required.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Ability to travel overnight (estimated 10-20%)
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to view computer monitor and enter data on keyboard
